Sexual orientation is someone’s sexual and/or physical attraction to others.
Gender identity is someone’s internal sense of being male, female, both of these, or neither.
LGBTQ2+ stands for:
- lesbian;
- gay;
- bisexual;
- transgender;
- two-spirit;
- queer or questioning; and
- the plus (+) ensures that other identities are included and nobody is left out.
